The Daily Iowan was named national Newspaper, Online and Multiplatform Pacemaker winners by the Associated Collegiate Press on Monday night in Atlanta – one of only three college news organizations in the country to win all three awards.
The DI also swept the three awards in 2022. The six Pacemaker awards taken home by the Daily Iowan staff in the last few years are the most won by any college news organization in the country.
The DI also earned recognition in 11 individual awards, which is a top 10 finish; this number includes seven students who placed in the top five nationally.
