This week an article in the Daily Iowan, "Convergence with Seniority," describes Iowa City Senior Center Television Online!, a collaborative project of Iowa City Senior Center TV (ICSCTV), The Experimental Wing of the Virtual Writing University, and the Department of Intermedia in the School of Art and Art History. In addition to streaming ICSCTV programs, the project develops unique online content. Its multiple channels include oral histories, midterm election coverage, video portraits, experimental travelogues, and experimental works.

The Experimental Wing embraces the creative interdisciplinary potential of digital production and community-based practice. It is dedicated to the exploration of experimental literary and multimedia hypertext research and production. Time-based media (Internet-based radio and television), online publishing and live events are integral parts of 'Wing' research.
