Beginning June 14, the "Elevenses," (a series composed of hour-long presentations at 11 a.m. each weekday), will open the Iowa Summer Writing Festival to the public. These free presentations, given by festival faculty, will include aspects of craft, process and the writing life.

Week-long sessions of the festival will begin June 13. Workshops themes focus on varied aspects of writing, from playwriting and poetry to science fiction and fantasy. Visit the Iowa Summer Writing Festival Website for more information.
