Pulitzer Prize Winner James Tate Reads Thursday, Oct. 21

Pulitzer Prize–winning poet James Tate, a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, will be reading from a selection of his work at 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21, in lecture room II of Van Allen Hall on the University of Iowa campus.

The reading is free and open to the public.

The Writing University's Live Discussion Series continued Wednesday, 10/13, with a session featuring Guatemalan author Eduardo Halfon and Salvadorean author, Horacio Castellanos Moya. Mr. Castellanos Moya is a 2010 Ida Beam Distinguished Professor. The discussion took place in Spanish at 3:30 p.m. (Central Time).
