Denis Johnson, the 2013–14 Magid Center Writer–in–Residence, will be reading selections from his works of fiction at 7 pm on Thursday, March 6, in Lecture Room 1 of Van Allen Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

Denis Johnson is an American writer best known for his short story collection Jesus' Son and his novel Tree of Smoke, which won the National Book Award for Fiction. He also writes plays, poetry and non–fiction.
